Itineraries

Día 1

Isla San Cristobal

12:00 AM Pick up at the airport, transfer to the lodging, Lunch, welcome talk.
14:30 PM visit the interpretation center of San Cristobal Island, Playa Man
18:30 Dinner

Día 2

San Cristóbal - Lobos - Playa Ochoa

Morning: Early morning hotel pickup.

Today we drive to Lobos Island, a small island off the coast of San Cristóbal. This island is undoubtedly the best for birdwatching. In about 20 minutes by car, passing Lobos Island, we can already spot some birds.

Then we head directly to San Cristóbal Island, where we'll take a short hike. Here we can observe blue-footed boobies, frigatebirds, marine iguanas, and sea lions in their natural habitat.

Afterward, we'll go snorkeling around Lobos Island. The incredible underwater wildlife here is simply fantastic. Be aware that small sea lions may swim and play alongside you. It's fascinating. A delicious lunch will be served on the boat afterward.

Then we head to Playa Ochoa, a white sand beach with crystal-clear waters. Here you'll have time for snorkeling and relaxing.

Día 3

San Cristóbal

San Cristobel 360 Degrees Day Tour

On this full day boat tour from San Cristobel you will visit the best places such as Kicker Rock, Witch Hill, Sardina and White Rose Bay.  Snorkel with some of the best marine life including hammerhead sharks and watch the different species of birds nesting and feeding in the rocks.

Itinerary:

Start 07:00 am – Travel Agency Office

Finish 17:00 pm – Puerto Baquerizo Moreno

Our first stop is Rosa Blanca is a small bay located northeast of San Cristóbal island, the main attracition is the  large beach where you can see many birds and fish. Here you have the option to walk along the beach or guided snorkel to see sharks, rays and other marine life.

Next we visit  Pitt Point in the north of the island.  The boat trip takes about 45 minutes and you will see the amazing coastline with red, brown and black volcanic formations. Pitt Point is a natural bird farm where frigates nest and red, black and blue- footed boobies, can only be seen from the boat. The boat anchors here for lunch before heading to Sardina Bay.

At Sardina Bay we go ashore to the coral sand beach and take a guided walk to see iguanas, turtles  and birds nesting. Then we cruise past Witches Hill for a photo stop before heading to our last stop at Kicker Rock for another snorkeling adventure in open sea. The water is very deep and is known for many types of sharks, inlcuding hammerheads.  We then return to  Puerto Baquerizo Moreno where our adventure concludes

Día 4

San Cristóbal - Santa Cruz

In the morning I return to Santa Cruz - Ferry 06:30 am, the rest of the day is free

Día 5

Isabela (Tintoreras)

Isabela Islands  - Tintoreras

 

We will visit the famous flamingo lagoon, the Arnaldo Tupiza interpretation center where we find 8 species of turtles only from Isabela, we will take a walk through mangrove and manzanillo forests where we find small birds nesting, to go out to the beach.

The Tintoreras Islet is surrounded by volcanic formations where there is a canyon-shaped channel where reef sharks (Tintoreras) sleep, where we found blue-footed boobies and penguins for 45 minutes to later snorkel surrounded by fish, penguins, sea turtles and sea lions. .

The trip begins on the island of Santa Cruz where we are transported by speedboat to Isabela (1H50min).

A goat (bus) awaits us to go to the Flamenco Lagoon, Galapaguera (8 species of turtles), the wetlands that are nesting sites for birds, flamingo lagoon and iguanas.

Then we go to the beach where we find the aquatic iguanas resting and the blue-footed boobies, feeding on the small fish, to walk for 15 minutes along the beach until we reach the restaurant.

After lunch we continue to the snorkeling paradise Las Tintoreras. In addition to sharks, blue footed boobies, sharks (Tintoreras), you can see penguins, sea lions on the walk. In snorkeling, you immerse yourself in the fresh water where we will find colorful fish, turtles, sea lions and sharks and the famous penguins.

Día 6

Isabela (Los Tuneles) - Santa Cruz

Morning: Pick-up from your hotel on Isabela Island. Morning visit to Los Túneles.
Los Túneles on Isabela Island is an absolute paradise formed by lava flows that once flowed here. Numerous arches and tunnels above and below the water create a unique habitat and a beautiful spot for snorkeling.

Blue-footed boobies, frigatebirds, pelicans, sea lions, and, at the right time of year, penguins live here.

While snorkeling in Los Túneles, you can observe many different species: sharks, sea turtles, seahorses, manta rays, moray eels, and millions of fish.

Entering Los Túneles can be a bit tricky, as the waves can be quite strong, but it's well worth it.

Afternoon: Return to Santa Cruz in the afternoon.

Día 7

Santa Cruz (180° Tour)

The tour begins at the Galapagos Living office. After selecting the snorkeling equipment, to go to Pinzon Island FROM Puerto Ayora.

start 08:00 am to finish 16:30 pm
Start at Pinzon island where you snorkel in two areas and you may see sharks, sea lions, turtles and hundreds of fish.
Next it is Eden island with its yellow sand beach great for sunbathing or more snorkeling.
Then la Fe which is the best place to see birds like nazca boobies, blue leg, fringate and many more species
Finish the day with a bit of fishing on the way back to port where our excursion ends.
Visit the 3 Galapagos Islands where, swim with sharks, play with sea lions and tortoises.
Find the most famous birds on the islands, see the courtship form of boobies and frigates.

Día 8

Santa Cruz - Baltra

Transfer to the airport in Baltra. Return to Quito or Guayaquil
